Assignment 2: Macro

This assignment is all about taking close up pictures to show even the littlest detail in the photo. I used a lot of toy like things to take pictures of. I did a lot of zooming and adjusting the length I was away from the object.

 I really liked doing the macro assignment, because I like how you can really see the detail in the pictures. I learned to really take my time with taking pictures to get them just right.

Gimp Assignment 2: Car Retouch

In this assignment we had to take a original picture of a car and retouch to make it look like the demo picture. Some things we had to do, were cropping, changing the color levels of the car, make the background completely black, and changing opacity of different elements on the car.

I learned a lot of new things that I can do with Gimp. I discovered many more tools to use to edit pictures with. I will use Gimp a lot more now to make my pictures look really good.

Assignment 1-Still Life

In this assignment, I chose to take pictures of still life. I just went around and found things to take pictures of that resembled still life. I used different backgrounds and lighting.

Still life was fun and easy to take pictures of. I took pictures of things that I like and that are still life products. I used different light settings and I placed things in different ways.

Gimp Assignment 1: Pop Art

Gimp is an photo editor where you can do many different things with your photos. Today we made our photo's into a pop art effect. We resized, copied and pasted, and distorted our pictures. 
I learned about Gimp and what it can do. I learned how to change and distort the colors and the sizing of the photos and to change it to different colors.

I learned how to take pictures useing all different types of elements to make the picture look better. Also how to use Photoshop and Blogger.
